Parish

St Thomas More is part of the Elizabeth Catholic Parish, formed by the merger of Elizabeth North and Elizabeth South parishes. Fr Pat Woods is the Parish Priest, commencing in September 2011. Other schools in our parish are St Mary Magdalene's, Catherine McAuley School, St Columba College (Catholic/Anglican), St Patrick's Technical College and Compass Community College. The Sacramental Program is parish based although our Assistant Principal, Melissa Musolino, supports the program.

Sacramental Program

The Sacramental Program prepares children to celebrate:

• Baptism
• Reconciliation (Confession)
• Confirmation
• First Eucharist (First Holy Communion)

How will I know if my child is ready to celebrate the Sacraments?

As the most significant education in a faith occurs within the context of the family, the year level of your child at school is not the best way to decide the right time for your child to begin preparations to celebrate the Sacraments.

As a general guide, children should be at least seven years old.
